This project deploys a series of figure ground relationships to define sectional and elevational conditions throughout. In development, a series of two-dimensional figure ground translations derived from previous sectional artifacts were used to generate multi-view projections onto the field condition of the mid-rise stack.

The ensuing stacks operate in two dimensions – in the horizontal grain, more typically as floor stacks and in the vertical grain, as stacked walls deployed for spatial and tectonic reinforcement. Programmatically, each zone is specified with a unique cluster of the library and interconnected through strategically placed vertical and diagonal circulation.
